The Setting

Ancient homes do not need to be turned into museums, we feel they wish to live side by side to present times along with people. This is the reason why I feel my work has been accomplished only when our guests feel at home, as it has been the case with Gianni Amelio who wrote he was able to find its childhood sleep back while staying in our rooms.
True artists have the ability to catch feelings and moods over a very short period of time, and those are what we are constantly working on daily.
Sometimes you only need a couple of adjectives to give you the energy to go on. This is what happened with Jude Law- he wrote exactly what I wanted to read without being aware of it. He called this his home in Viterbo, so warm and welcoming. And this is all I wish to know: my guests perceive the location as their home away from home in Viterbo.
At a time when virtual sharing seems to be the only thing that matters, we believe it is pleasant to rediscover the value of a virtuous sharing of spaces and feelings. Our guests can meet up for breakfast or while visiting the town. It is true a big hotel can offer more services but our B&B is not a hotel and does not wish to be one.
We are an intimate Boutique Hotel and we are all guests of the same history. This is what the hotel has to tell among the peperino marble hedgings emerging from the Virginia creeper leaves, turning from green to a flaming autumn red.
All suites and communal spaces for breakfast and relax have been dislocated over three floors.
